This easy homemade ranch comes together in minutes. It’s rich and tangy with just the right balance of creaminess and zip. Perfect for salads, sandwiches, wings, or veggies.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup real mayo

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  • 1 small garlic clove (pressed)

  • 1 tsp parsley (minced)

  • 1/2 tsp dill

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions

  • Mix mayo and buttermilk until smooth.
  • Stir in herbs, spices, and any additional ingredients.
  • Chill in the refrigerator to let the flavors set. (optional but recommended)

Notes

  • Swap 1 teaspoon onion powder with 3 tablespoons of finely minced chives OR green onions. Mincing them small helps release their fresh flavor and blends better into the dressing.
  • Add a fresh squeeze of lemon to brighten the flavor!
  • Doubling the recipe will fill a shaker bottle.
