New on the Farmstead: The Kilgus Creamline Blog

This year’s big update for the Kilgus Farmstead is actually online. Earlier this year we added a blog section to our site which we call The Kilgus Creamline.

We’re excited to share information about our farm and we’ll be covering commonly asked questions that we receive from customers about our dairy and meat products, the production process, and our industry in general. We’re even including homemade recipes for you to try which uses some of your favorite Kilgus Farmstead products.

Our first blog series is a great overview on milk which begins with Milk 101. There’s a lot of helpful information for consumers to give you more knowledge when visiting the dairy aisle of your local grocery store.

If you have a subject or topic of interest that you would like to see in a future blog post please let us know. We’d be delighted to cover what you find both interesting and informative. We want to know what mooooves you!

Beef House Yeast Rolls

‘Tis the season to preorder the famously delicious beef house rolls made by the Beef House Restaurant!

The rolls are frozen, packaged by the dozen, and sold for $11. We will have a very limited supply available so make sure to reserve your rolls by the following dates:

🦃 Thanksgiving preorder deadline is November 5th
🎄 Christmas preorder deadline is December 3rd

While we try to keep rolls in stock at our Country Store, due to their popularity we frequently run out. If you don’t submit an order by the above deadlines in-store availability is on a first-come first-serve basis.

You can either call us or complete a preorder form on our website.

Also, keep in mind that the rolls take a day to rise before baking, so plan accordingly for your holiday meals. They’re worth the effort and the wait!
