Kilgus Farmstead is grateful to be a part of the Fairbury community and the surrounding area. Our local patrons’ support makes our work meaningful, and we truly appreciate being a part of this close-knit group of outstanding folks.
Being a part of the community is about giving back and we want to show our appreciation by hosting a food truck dinner and ice cream social event series. All ice cream proceeds from each event will be donated to a local cause.
We hope to have three Grub N’ Gratitude events planned for this calendar year (spring, summer, and fall.) See below for our spring event details and the cause being supported.
Thank you all for joining us for the 2023 Gn’G events.
We look forward to hosting again in 2024!
Stay tuned for future dates.
Fall Grub N’ Gratitude
Saturday, October 21
11 am – 1 pm
Our Fall Event Cause
Food and family are at the heart of what we do. We grow crops and our community and when we invest in both, we all become stronger. Sharing food brings us together so we’re supporting our local food banks because they in, turn help families directly by putting food on their tables.
All proceeds from ice cream sales during the event will go to the Fairbury Community Food Pantry and Forrest Community Food Pantry.
Woody & Bubba’s Barbecue will be parked at Kilgus Farmstead Country Store, selling their delicious, melt-in-your-mouth, BBQ dinners! — Available to eat on-site or carry-out
